Terms
The deal.
Last updated 7 September 2026. Using AYRLI means you accept what is on this page.
What AYRLI is
AYRLI is an iPhone app that logs your gym sessions and shares them with a small group of people you have chosen to train with. It is built and run by its developer in Brisbane, Australia. It is invite only: you get in with a code from someone already in a group.
It is early software. Features arrive, change and occasionally get pulled. Nothing on this page promises that a feature you like today will be there next month.
Your account
- One account, one person. Do not share it and do not make one for somebody else.
- Keep the details true enough to be useful — your crew is going to be looking at them.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think somebody else is in it, email support@ayrli.app straight away.
- You need to be at least 16.
Turning up, honestly
The whole app rests on the check-in being real. So: do not fake it. Do not spoof your location, do not leave your phone at the gym, do not automate check-ins, and do not add manual sessions for training you did not do. It is not against the law, it is just pointless — you would be lying to four people who know where you were.
Check-in is not perfect either. Region monitoring can miss a crossing, a flat battery ends the day early, and a gym next to a busy road can fire from the footpath. AYRLI does not promise that every session is caught or that every session it caught is right, which is why you can edit and delete them.
Being decent to your crew
A crew is a small group of people who can see each other's sessions. Do not use it to harass, pile on, or make anyone feel like rubbish for having a bad week. Do not upload photos of other people without asking them. Do not repost anything a crew-mate shared with the group somewhere outside it.
A crew owner or admin can remove members and rotate the invite code. If you are removed you keep your own account and your own history; you just stop seeing that group.
What you put in
Your photos, notes, recordings and measurements stay yours. You are giving permission to store them and to show them to the people you have chosen to share them with — that is all, and it lasts only as long as you keep them in the app. Nothing you upload is used to advertise anything, and nothing is sold.
Only upload things you have the right to upload.
It is not a doctor
AYRLI logs what you tell it and looks for patterns in it. That is not medical advice, and neither is anything the app notices about your sleep, your pain scores or a niggle you mentioned. It is not a physio, a coach or a diagnosis. Train sensibly, and if something hurts, ask an actual professional. You lift at your own risk.
What might break
AYRLI is offered as it is. There is no uptime promise, no guarantee it will work on your phone, and no guarantee your data will never be lost. Back up anything you would genuinely miss. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for losses that follow from using the app — a missed session, a wrong stat, a photo that did not upload, or a period where nothing worked at all.
None of that takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be signed away and are not being signed away here.
Cost
AYRLI is free while it is in testing. If that ever changes you will be told well before it does, and no charge will appear without you agreeing to it first.
Ending it
You can leave whenever you like: delete your account in the app, or email support@ayrli.app. The privacy page explains what deletion removes.
An account can be suspended or removed for the things above — faking check-ins, harassing people, uploading things that are not yours — or if the app has to be shut down. In that case you get notice and a chance to get your data out.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia, and any dispute goes to the courts there.
If part of this page turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not mean giving it up.
When these terms change, the date at the top moves and the app tells you. If a change matters, it will say so rather than hoping you do not read it.
